In a triumph for hidden wonders and unexplored beauty, Lolab Valley in Kashmir has been crowned the “Best Offbeat Destination.” This accolade recognizes Lolab as a gem waiting to be discovered, away from the mainstream tourist circuits. Lolab Valley’s recognition as the Best Offbeat Destination is a testament to its unique charm and untouched allure. Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this Kashmiri jewel has captured the hearts of those seeking a genuine, off-the-beaten-path experience. The accolade of Lolab as the best offbeat destination conjures up a couplet by the poet Iqbal in my thoughts. Allama Iqbal, widely known for penning the patriotic anthem 'Saare jahan se achha Hindostan humara,' doesn't perceive Lolab merely as a physical landscape. To him, it is a manifestation of divine grace, encapsulated in the verse "Paani teri chesmun ka tadapta huwa seemab" (The water of your spring is a restless sea). The verses "Murgan sahar teri fazanwu main hai baitab" (In your morning, the birds are wide awake) personify the beauty and serenity of the valley. Even without physically experiencing Lolab, Iqbal’s poetic imagination captures its essence in “Armughaan-e-Hejaaz.” This poetic expression vividly captures the essence of Lolab, emphasizing the restless beauty of its springs. Iqbal's words breathe life into the enchanting allure of Lolab, portraying it as a landscape that stirs the soul with its poetic grace and natural splendor.
